i’ve been working on a little zine of black & white and color drawings, hand drawn type, maybe some photos, and other fun stuff.  here’s a couple little things to keep the blog fresh.

kids ride free

Here’s three illustrations for this weeks SFweekly for an article about young illegal kids being tricked, baited, and/or snatched up under very shady circumstances and put into police custody where they are then deported back to Central or South America.  The FBI got involved when they caught wind of this and it’s been a major political issue in SF lately.  Really intense stuff.  I’m glad that I got the opportunity to apply my work to this serious subject matter.

Also, my buddy Justin Page has left the Art Director position there, so I worked with the very cool Darrick Rainey over at the LAWeekly on this project while he fills in.  Sorry to see you go Justin!
