i bought my childhood on credit.

Just finished up this double page spread about cultural homologation and it’s impact/relationship with identity crisis for Francesco D’Abbraccio at Unità di Crisi, “a design research unit composed by graphic designers, architects, visual communication theorists and teachers based in Venice, Italy”.  This illustration will be appearing in a quarterly publication called Krisis, collaboration with Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation.

Many of the contributors to this publication are real heavy hitters in their respective feilds, and are from all over the world.  I’m very excited to be a part of the project.  Furthermore,  the subject matter for this issue of Krisis addresses and explores many of the more complicated themes and ideas I’ve been trying to tackle with my own work.  Hopefully the final product isn’t exclusively in Italian!
